Just a quick note:
The new What Did I learn review will be posted Sunday morning, on schedule. I managed to learn something new, so check it out.
Also, we reviewed Paradigm Shift for Comic Fencing. You can read that on Friday morning.
In other news, progress is being made on several of my ongoing projects. Check It Local is a local business directory which is now doing quite well. Feel free to submit your business to be listed. There is a Free membership or you can go big and get the Premium account for just $60.00 per year. It’s kind of handy, actually. If I had a diner or store, I would post my weekly sales or specials, new items and the like. You can log in anytime and from anywhere to update your listing, so it is easy to add new products or pictures to show your customers what you have to offer. (If you have a commercial being shown on WatchMediaTv, the Premium account is complimentary. All by itself, the commercial is a great deal if you know anything about how much it costs to show a commercial on TV or radio. To have the Premium membership on Check It Local is just icing on the cake, if I do say so myself.)
Soon I’ll be able to direct you to the game I’ve created. (By created, I mean that I stole little parts of it from lots of other games.) I think I’ve mentioned that it will begin with army men toy wargames, but I have more variations in the pipeline.

Hi Delos,
How does one go about requesting you review a webcomic? (I guess I am formally requesting a review right now!) I couldn’t find any contact link or anything about how you choose subjects, so I just decided to leave this comment. I’d love to get your take on my strip.
Stop my strip at http://www.maroonedcomic.com and take a look. Shoot me an email and let me know either way. Thanks!
Tom
Tom,
I’ll email you about your comic, but for the benefit of everyone else I’ll respond briefly here.
You can request a comic review via email or comment (or in person, I guess.) As a rule, I stick to kid-friendly comics, which means that I don’t review comics I wouldn’t want my young kids reading about. That keeps things pretty safe.
As for the order of the comics I review, I have a bookmarked list that I’ve given up on picking through and sorting, so I’m just going from the top down. When I get a request, I usually try to take care of them within a couple of weeks so they bump my list down. As you can see, I’m pretty informal.
Also, I’m still working on all those little fiddly bits that are missing since I ported over to a wordpress installation. If you (anyone) sees something like that missing, please comment or send me an email.
I’ve yet to add the page where it talks about my method of reviewing and I need to add a page where I take requests. Am I missing anything else important?
